To complement my first answer and give you a more complete snapshot that responds precisely to your question, please note that Sequans is currently working closely with accredited certification laboratories to finalize the full CRA compliance process. This includes validating product classification, completing CRA‑aligned risk assessments, and preparing all required documentation (secure‑by‑design evidence, SBOM, update policy, and updated DoC).
Our objective is to ensure that all Sequans modules meet the full CRA conformity and CE‑marking requirements well ahead of the December 2027 deadline.
We will communicate more detailed guidance to customers as the regulatory process and harmonized standards are finalized.
