TLS resumption with MQTT

Hi,
My tracking device connects twice per day to send approximately 1 kB of data to the server. To optimize battery life, I am not using PSM or eDRX, but instead rely on an ON/OFF operating mode.

However, when using MQTT over TLS as described in the GM02S documentation, TLS session resumption does not appear to work. Is there any specific seting to do not described in the datasheet ?

Hi Bjork,

I assume that your tracker embeds GM02S(P) module and FW LR8.2.2.1-63493.

The persistence of TLS session ticket on MQTT over power cycle is a known issue on this FW version (and previous versions too). We are working to solve this problem in the next FW, which should come within the next few month in Q2 2026.
